Plant Planner / Project Engineer Insect Farming (f/m/d)

Your Mission

In this role, you play a crucial role in implementing our innovative concept into practice. You develop and verify concepts for our insect production, focusing on innovative methods for energy, process, and layout optimization for sustainable and regenerative solutions. You think holistically about processes from goods receipt to goods issue and actively shape the interfaces to technology, procurement, and automation. We rely on you and your enthusiasm when it comes to integrating new technologies with innovation and creativity and developing into a specialist role with a high level of cooperation.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and layout design of standardized facilities for industrial insect farming

• Design of process chains from raw material input through feeding, farming areas, and further processing to storage

• Creation of layout plans, flow diagrams, and technical specifications as a basis for offers and investment decisions

• Technical support of customer projects from the sales phase through basic and detailed planning to construction and commissioning

• Continuous development and modularization of central components

• Shaping the interface to adjacent departments (e.g. procurement, automation, service, quality)

Your profile

• Completed education (HTL, FH, UNI) in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, energy technology, or similar

• Sound knowledge of 3D-CAD (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks) and common engineering tools

• Experience in technical design, construction, and optimization in industrial plant engineering or production systems

• Strong understanding of energy flows, processes, and layout development in production or process engineering

• Ability to document according to technical standards in both German and English

• Analytical skills, results orientation, and initiative
