Your Mission

In this newly created role, you play a crucial role in implementing our innovative concept into practice. You combine deep technical understanding with a clear focus on profitability, turning solid constructions into truly strong products with a competitive advantage. You systematically identify cost-saving and optimization potentials and develop solutions that simultaneously reduce costs, ensure quality, and increase customer benefits. As a Value Engineer, you work closely with design, procurement, production, and sales, and quickly see how your decisions noticeably improve the performance of the systems and the economic success in the market.

Your Tasks

• Identification and implementation of cost optimization measures on existing modules and plant concepts

• Evaluation of alternative design and manufacturing concepts, participation in design and process FMEAs

• Collaboration with procurement and suppliers to standardize components and reduce overall costs

• Creation and maintenance of specifications, norms, and standard requirements for the series construction kit

• Support in change management and maintenance of CAD and PLM data

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (mechanical engineering, plant engineering, industrial engineering, industrial engineering)

• Several years of professional experience in a similar position in an industrial environment

• Sound knowledge in 3D CAD (e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks) and common engineering tools; experience with cost/value engineering tools

• Strong understanding of energy flows, processes, and layout development in production or process engineering

• Analytical skills, results orientation, and initiative

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
